Chelsea Payment is a zealous attorney with a passion for advocacy. Chelsea is a native Oregonian who received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon in 2009. While putting herself through college at the University of Oregon Chelsea worked as a paralegal and office manager of two small law firms owned by Andrew Coit. Her experience working with members of the Oregon legal community eventually led Chelsea to pursue a career as an attorney.
Chelsea earned her Juris Doctorate from the College of Law at Willamette University and became a member of the Oregon State Bar in 2014. In addition to being a member of the Oregon Bar, Chelsea is licensed to practice law in the United States District Court for the District of Oregon and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Chelsea’s unique background in the legal field enables her to navigate the Oregon court system while providing clients with diligent and aggressive representation. Chelsea handles a versatile case load that includes criminal defense, civil litigation, family law, juvenile law, and DHS matters. Chelsea is a member of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Multnomah County Bar Association, Lane County Bar Association, and OWLS.
In her free time, Chelsea enjoys spending time hiking in the Pacific Northwest, exploring Oregon’s wine country, and socializing with family and friends.
